[IMPORTANT] ABC Fall 2025 Town Hall Deadlines and Updates
Dear Student Groups,
The Activities Board at Columbia would like to thank everyone who was able to be in attendance for ABC's Fall 2025 Town Hall. ABC's Town Hall features financial training, important ClubRefuel information, new mandates, upcoming initiatives, and critical information for ABC's student leaders to manage their finances for the upcoming year. ABC Fall 2025 Town Hall included many surveys and links that we want to ensure groups have received and completed in a timely manner. With that in mind, please read the entire email and be sure to review the following information:

1. ABC Fall 2025 Town Hall Presentation Slides
ABC's Town Hall is an extremely important opportunity for Student Group Leaders to meet their peers and receive financial training for the upcoming year. It is essential that Student Groups review and use the ABC Town Hall Presentation Slides to find important updates, approaching deadlines and financial resources. ABC's student groups must review ABC's financial processes and learn about the many resources available on Columbia's Campus. ABC is placing a significant emphasis on proper financial training this year, and thus we expect groups to familiarize themselves with ABC's process and the financial policies of Columbia University. If you have any questions about financial procedures or resources, we encourage you to reach out to your ABC Representative.
2. Mandatory Treasury Template
ABC is introducing a mandatory Treasury Template for all of its student groups, in order to create a more uniform and standardized financial accounting system across student groups. The link is attached here. As we begin to move forward with this new initiative, ABC has several requirements for student groups to complete before the beginning of the Spring Semester.
- Treasury Template’s should begin using your groups most recent fund balance report starting this semester.
- Student groups must meet with their ABC Representative before the last day of class.
- Student groups must send their own version of the Treasury Template to their ABC Representative as soon as possible.
- Student groups must send a finalized version of their Fall 2025 Treasury Template before the beginning of the Spring 2026 semester
If groups do not meet these parameters, they will lose their eligibility to receive ABC Co-Sponsorships in the Spring 2026 semester. We encourage your review of the ABC Town Hall slides, linked above, to review the specifics for ABC's Mandated Treasury Sheet. If you have any questions or concerns about ABC's Mandated Treasury Sheet, we encourage you to contact your ABC Representative to review the requirements and accounting process.
3. ABC Feedback Surveys
As ABC has been expanding its roles and collaborating with other organizations on campus, we have introduced many new programs in the last two years. ABC wants to collect data and your feedback on these new programs. Specifically, ABC is requesting feedback for Student Group Summer Storage and Faculty Connections with Student Groups.
The links attached lead to their appropriate Google Forms. These forms should take no longer than 5 minutes for you to complete. ABC highly encourages student groups to fill out these forms, so that we can collect feedback and data to better our programming and create greater opportunities with on campus organizations.
4. Lerner Renovation Survey
In order to survey interest and student needs, ABC is requiring that its student groups complete this form for ABC's Lerner Renovation. Columbia University's Senate just approved the renovation of Lerner Hall with an emphasis on reclaiming spaces for student and student group programming. Lerner Renovation will grant more open spaces for student groups to meet and plan events. ABC will be drafting a blueprint for the Lener Renovation and will be proposing what student group programming will look like in these spaces. Please fill out this survey by October 10, 2025!!
