William Jiayang Wang

William Wang (CC’28) serves as the East Asian Representative of the Activities Board at Columbia College. Having grown up in Hong Kong, a global hub that connects Eastern and Western culture, he brings a deep appreciation for diversity and a dedication to fostering cross-culture connections. Studying biochemistry at Columbia College, he is fascinated by the intersection between technology and science, and he is equally committed to building a vibrant community. In addition to his role on the Activities Board, William is actively involved in the Hong Kong Students and Scholars Society, as well as intramural badminton. Passionate about creating opportunities for dialogue and exchange, he is dedicated to cultivating a campus environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
